Personal Biography

Liz O’Donnell is a seasoned and certified substance use disorders counselor who thrives on working with a diverse population of clients. She believes in the collaborative nature of the counseling relationship, viewing counselors and clients as both students and teachers. Liz emphasizes that recovery is most successful when clients are encouraged to set and achieve personally meaningful goals. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental, and warm environment where clients can identify and build on their strengths while developing strategies for achieving and maintaining their recovery.

Outside of her professional life, Liz enjoys playing music with friends, engaging in creative projects, cooking, baking, and spending time with her beloved feline companion, Oliver, affectionately known as “Oli Cat.”

Liz is also excited about starting at Coppin State University in the fall to complete the remaining courses needed to achieve her goal of becoming a licensed clinical professional counselor. Her commitment to personal and professional growth ensures that she continues to provide exceptional care to her clients while pursuing her own educational aspirations.
