Jessica Loren Silvers, LCSW-C, has established herself as a distinguished clinical social worker with a profound dedication to providing mental health treatment to adults, children, and families. She holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland Graduate School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. Jessica's academic achievements laid the groundwork for her commitment to clinical social work and her expertise in mental health care.

Currently serving as the Clinical Director at Positive Steps, LLC, Jessica oversees the clinical supervision of all staff members, fostering an environment that encourages and coordinates the active involvement of family and client support systems in treatment. Her role is pivotal in coordinating patient care with community resources, enhancing community relations, and developing referrals to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Prior to her current position, Jessica was a Rehabilitation Specialist at Positive Steps, LLC, where she played a key role in supervising Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program counselors. Her responsibilities included ensuring clinical documentation was completed, addressing any barriers to treatment, assisting in the creation and implementation of administration deadlines for consumer documentation, and analyzing program data to evaluate program effectiveness.

Jessica's earlier experiences include her role as a Clinical Director and Therapist at Inspirations, LLC, where she delivered outpatient assessment and psychotherapy services to individuals with various mental health diagnoses and trauma-related symptoms. Her efforts to encourage and coordinate family and client support systems have significantly contributed to the treatment process, demonstrating her ability to work effectively with both adults and youth with serious emotional disorders.

Beginning her career as a Clinical Social Worker at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Family Center, Jessica provided family therapy to children and their foster care providers, collaborated with outside agencies for comprehensive treatment, and established supportive relationships with biological families to achieve permanency goals.
